Will have to break down and give it a try--the closest I have come is the 87 show that Dire put me onto (and that one really surprised me; loved the energy, and realized I didn't miss Donna...plus Brent was better than I was expecting). I really have been almost afraid to give the 90s a listen as I just assumed I would be put off (given my long held bias for early years, etc). Sounds as if a number of folks appreciate this one, so...

tons of 80 shows w/energy - tough to find in the 90's - some tunes, but not shows - and even the tunes are few + far between - it made it a little frustrating towards the end, having to see 10 shows in 95 to catch 2 tunes - but what the heck, paybacks are a bitch I guess

March of 90 is phenomenal. Anyone would like 3/24 and 3/29. The problem would be if you just didn't like the "sound" of that period because it is different from the 60's and 70's but they were different from each other as well.

The band changed as they went and since I love what they do, I just try to go along. I don't always care for the sound of the midi in the 90s but I just try to enjoy what they were trying to do.

But really, try those shows and let me know what you think.
